Television de Catalunya broadcast an informative documentary about Artificial Intelligence (AI), the opportunities it offers, the new challenges it proposes to society and the scientific community, and the impact on different fields of application.

The "AI: the new evolution" program highlighted how AI is revolutionizing multiple sectors, including healthcare and medicine, through the application of innovation, technology and high-volume acquisition, analysis and management. of data.

The documentary featured the participation of prominent scientists, including Dr. Josep Malvehy, scientific member of the iToBoS project, who shared his vision of the latest advances in AI applied to medicine. AI is playing a fundamental role in the evolution of obtaining an early diagnosis in certain diseases, including those that require detailed image analysis, such as skin cancer.

The iToBoS project is at the forefront of this disruptive digital transformation. The advances shown in the documentary are not only visionary, but are part of the essence of the iToBoS project, which integrates the obtaining and analysis of images, considering both a specific moment and its evolution over time, adding additional information (background of the patient, DNA data and context data, among others) to enrich the analysis and offer much more complete and effective diagnostic support.
