On September 26, 2024, J. Malvehy led an interactive workshop at the EADV Congress in Amsterdam titled “Playing with AI in Dermatology.”
This session allowed participants to interact with practical examples of how AI is used in dermatology. Malvehy showed real-world applications of artificial intelligence tools that help dermatologists make diagnoses, such as iToBoS, showing how artificial intelligence can be integrated into daily clinical practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Dr. Malvehy on this occasion explained the algorithm developed by iToBoS, emphasizing the importance of cross-referencing genetic, clinical and phenotypic data in the early diagnosis of melanoma.
