The article, published on May 25, 2022 and titled "Torus Actions, this company that excels in the field of health" presents the iToBoS project, in which Torus Action is participating together with 18 partners from 13 countries, highlighting the importance of research in health sector.
“Le projet « Intelligent Total Body Scanner for Early Detection of Melanoma » souhaite ainsi déceler le plus rapidement le mélanome, qui, pris en charge de manière prématurée est curable.
Le scanner mis en place, dont un premier prototype a été réalisé est basé sur des nanotechnologies. Ce sont des intelligences artificielles qui permettront d’aider au diagnostic et à l’interprétation des images médicales. L’initiative derrière iTobos est de fournir une aide au diagnostic rapide quand l’évolution du mélanome joue contre la montre.
La contribution de Torus Actions dans ce projet se fait à travers le domaine de l’intelligence artificielle. L’algorithme SkinCancer AI (outils développé depuis la création de l’entreprise), est aujourd’hui capable d’aider à l’identification automatique de près d’une centaine de types de tumeurs malignes et bénignes. Une avancée non négligeable en matière de santé.”
