Stuttgart, 8-10/10/2024.
The iToBoS project was presented at the VISION from 8 - 10 of October 2024 in Stuttgart.
The VISION show is the world's leading trade fair for machine vision and provides an overview of all important trends, suppliers and innovations. The iToBoS project partner Optotune participated in the fair with a booth and displayed the lens module ELM-75.
The ELM-75 was developed by Optotune in the framework of iToBoS project. It is the world-wide first product that implements the gravity compensation for fast focussing liquid tunable lenses. This new technology is the key to the optical performance of the iToBoS Intelligent Total Body Scanner.
Optotune expects that the gravity compensation from the iToBoS project will become one of the company's core technologies in the next years, enabling the use of our liquid lenses in dermatology and pathological organ scanners that were not accessible up to now. The real-world application of this technology in the EU Horizon 2020 iToBoS project is one of the proofs of its potential.
