iToBoS 9th GA meeting and 8th PMB meeting in Girona

Girona & online, 4-5/03/2025.

The iToBoS 9th General Assembly (GA) and 8th Project Management Board (PMB) meetings took place on March 4th- 5th, 2025 in Girona. Both meetings were hosted and organized by the University of Girona (UDG) as the project coordinator.

In this final GA meeting, the consortium conducted an in-depth analysis of the iToBoS project. This encompassed a review of its status, accomplishments, outstanding tasks, delivered items, and the milestones achieved up to month 48 (M48). The consortium concluded that the project is advancing satisfactorily and aligning with the performance metrics established in the contingency plan, as outlined in the project amendment.

The Project Coordinator explained to the attendees how to proceed to prepare their contributions to the Periodic Report 3, which must be submitted by the end of May 2025 and provided recommendations for the first Review Meeting that will take place in June 2025. Thirty-two participants attended in-person and five participated through videoconference, representing all beneficiary entities.

On the second day of the meeting (March 5th) a Joint WP8 & WP7 Meeting was organized by the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), lead beneficiary of WP8, and Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute, lead beneficiary of WP7. This workshop provided a comprehensive overview of the AI developments presented by both of them. Following the presentation, we engaged in discussions concerning our critical issues for completing the project. The PMB meeting had fifteen attendees in-person and three joining via videoconference.

Later, in the PMB meeting the members reviewed and discussed upcoming steps, anticipated delays, problems to solve and challenges to address until the end of the project this March. The PMB meeting had twenty attendees in-person and three joining via videoconference, including all key roles such as the Project Coordinator (PC), Project Manager (PM), Quality Assurance Manager (QAM), Innovation and Exploitation Manager (IEM), Dissemination and Communication Manager (DCM), Data Manager (DM) and WP leaders.
