iToBoS participated in the Cross Domain Conference for Machine Learning and Knowledge Extraction (CD-MAKE 2022) that took place in Vienna, Austria, in August 24, 2022.
The International Cross Domain Conference for Machine Learning & Knowledge Extraction CD-MAKE is a joint effort of IFIP TC 5 (Information Technology Applications), TC 12 (Artificial Intelligence), IFIP WG 8.4 (E-Business: Multi-disciplinary research and practice), IFIP WG 8.9 (Enterprise Information Systems) and IFIP WG 12.9 (Computational Intelligence) and is held in conjunction with the International Conference on Availability, Reliability and Security (ARES). The event had more than 330 participants from 33 countries. The four conference days were filled with internationally renowned keynote speakers, excellent papers, and lively workshops!
The iToBoS project was presented through the lecture “Explain to Not Forget: Defending Against Catastrophic Forgetting with XAI”. The lecture was done by Doctor Sebastian Lapuschkin, from Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute, partner of the iToBoS project.
