iToBoS was presented in the 23 Congreso Ibero Latino-Americano de Dermatologia (CILAD) in Madrid, Spain, on July 01, 2022.
The Ibero-Latin American College of Dermatology represents more than 4,000 active dermatologists from 21 countries in the LATAM region, in addition to Spain and Portugal, with the aim of promoting the scientific development of the specialty. CILAD's work includes various activities that stimulate the educational and professional improvement of its associates, such as the Training Program for Latin American Resident Doctors in Dermatology and the Medical and Educational Assistance Program, as well as its Ibero-Latin American Congress of Dermatology, which takes place every two years. This year, the 23rd CILAD Congress took place in Madrid from June 30 to July 3. The event brought together thousands of residents and dermatologists from Spain, Portugal and Latin America, who can attend its workshops, symposiums, workshops, courses and master conferences.
iToBoS was presented by Dr. Josep Malvehy, member of Fundació Clínic per a la Recerca Biomèdica and scientifc partner of iToBoS project with the conference “Dermatoscopia y nuevas tecnologías en la era de la inteligencia artificial” (Dermatoscopy and new technologies in the era of artificial intelligence). The work highlighted the importance of new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, in dermatoscopy and healthcare applied to the skin.
