iToBoS at Bootcamp21 Research Strategy

Online, 3-5/12/2021.

iToBoS project was present at the Bootcamp21 Research Strategy. The event was planned to take place in Berlin, Germany, but due to COVID-19 restrictions it ended up being carried out in an online format.

The goal was an informed research strategy, with the support of Melanoma Patient Network Europe (MPNE), partner of the iToBoS project. The event was aimed at melanoma patients, carers and advocates who are already involved in research projects or who have a serious interest to become involved in the near future.

The workshop was about how to move from a reactive - waiting to be asked - to a proactive involvement in research. Different Design Thinking tools were tested to identify what type of research is needed and how to get it.

The iToBoS project was very present within the framework of “If you don't do it, no one will” session, on December 5th 2021, where the foundations for the development Design Thinking tool were established internally. The tool has to facilitate the interaction between consortium partners and the Melanoma patient community, as well as interested stakeholders.
