Hannover, 05/11/2022.

On November 5, 2022, LUH opened its doors to citizens from 12 to 6 pm at the university as an open place of science. Researchers had access to a wide range of topics.

At the "Leibniz AnsprechBAR", researchers from various disciplines awaited visitors to engage in conversation with them on current social issues - from energy to health to climate protection. The event was organized by the Leibniz University Hannover.

The event was open to all citizens. In total, the university invited to more than 150 lectures, experiments, exhibitions, and hands-on activities.

The iToBoS project was represented by Lennart Jütte in three presentations on the topic of early detection of skin cancer by the means of optical technologies. The researcher is involved in the development of the optical system of iToBoS.

The event was well received and especially the younger people in the audience had a lot of questions and showed great interest in the application of optical technologies.
