The National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) is the oldest (founded in 1837) and most prestigious Engineering University in Greece with a large involvement and participation in research projects both in a National and European level. The team that is participating in iToBoS affiliates with the Remote Sensing Laboratory with a significant expertise in sensing systems including passive imaging, multi-/hyper-spectral, active radar and lidar sensors; in data analytics, geospatial data fusion and processing, machine learning and computer vision; in a vast variety of engineering applications.

Main role in the project
NTUA will lead the technical activities of WP7 towards designing and developing efficient AI tools for the integration of various multimodal datasets including dermoscopy images, clinical phenotype, imaging phenotype and genomics for efficient exploitation and optimal decision making.
